Customer satisfaction remain key and major preoccupation in businesses for its flourishment, absence of which could lead to negative consequences; The disillusionments that often occurs due to possible failures of electricity midway in an event during high demanding time; corporate offices launching a new product, commercial buildings such as a restaurant full of weekend customers, an international conference taking place in a hotel, industries midway of production and government offices, keeps the business owners very anxious and disquieted. Therefore, improperly functioning electrical system in those high-stress moments can easily become total disasters.
The reasons for the above are mainly the unreliability of associated electrical systems due to improper and unprofessional installations; when you can have ESL with its fully trained, ethically groomed and professional engineers and electricians, why put your business at risk with an inadequate and ineffective electrician?

EPC, the execution phase of projects, is a form of contract where the works under an approved specifications includes complete engineering and design services, procurement of the equipment and material, required construction at site, erection and installation of the equipment, testing and commissioning of the grid and energisation. ESL having been providing such services in Transmission lines and Substations from 34.5kV up to 345kV voltage levels in Nigeria.
EPC contracts cover the following aspects:
Existing Transmission Lines often require upgrade and/rehabilitation due to long-aged, depreciation, overloading and vandalisation. ESL have been involved and have rehabilitated and/or Re-conductored 330kV and 132kV Lines in Nigeria.
For rehabilitation projects, vandalised Sky-Wire, Tower member of eroded foundations are most what are involved. Reconstruction of vandalised/destroyed portion of Sapele – Benin (S3B/S4B) and Delta-Benin (G3B/S5B) 330kV Transmission Line was carried out by ESL.
The Re-conductoring project involve professional design review of foundation, towers against the new conductors fittings and hardwares follows by the stringing and associated works. ESL Re-conductored the following among others:
These are procurement contracts that involves the design, manufacture, supplied and delivery of equipment of a specific quantity mostly the through competitive bidding. The project having gone through series of processes, the Employer awards the contracts in a determined way; conditions of contract, drawings, technical specifications. ESL won many of such contract and completed them – the works went through the following phases:
• Guaranteeing of technical specification, design, and obtain client's approval;
• Manufacture of equipment;
• Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT);
• Shipment and Port Clearance;
• Land Transportation and Site Delivery, and
• Installation works, where applicable.
Many project were executed for the Design, Manufacture and Delivery of 300kV and 132kV Auto/Power Transformers by the ESL. Among which were 2x150MVA, 330/132/33kV AutoTransformers, 10x100MVA, 132/33kV Power Transformers and 1x 75MVAr, 330kV Shunt Reactor.
As part of the contract requirement, FAT is conducted on every equipment manufactures.
FAT on 150MVA, 330/132/33kV Auto Transformer and 75MVAr Shunt Reactor as witnessed by the client and ESL Representatives.
At the end of FAT and upon satisfactory report, the equipments are shipped in accordance with INCOTERMS.
On arrival of the goods, the equipments are cleared at the port after which are transported to site for installation works, where applicable.
One of the ESL's project that was delivered and installed was 1x150MVA, 330/132/33kV Auto Transformer in Kumbotso, Kano.
The Auto Transformer has been in service and performing very well.
In recognition of the need to utilise the untapped natural resources of Solar and Wind energy in Nigeria, ESL recently created Renewable Energy Department to meet up with the worldwide challenges of preserving our environment by adopting the use of Solar and Wind facilities for power generation.
Solar energy as well as wind power is abundant natural resources in the country that can be utilized for power generation. Solar systems are efficient, reliable and cost effective when compared with conventional supply system.
In the case of wind energy, it is the least expensive renewable energy in existence. This is in addition to its environmentally friendly aspect, no emission, no ecological impact.
